The Pokagon state park nature center is a great place to learn more about the park and it’s flora and fauna. The Nature Center features a sweet wildlife viewing window, informative displays, interpretive services, and more. This is where you can learn about the hiking challenge and other goings on.
Pokagon state Park NATURE CENTER
The displays are interesting and interactive, making Pokagon State Park a great place to learn about the environment. The Nature Center also has a woodland window and an auditorium, which provide additional educational opportunities.
Pokagon State Park is also the source of many great planned events. Outside, on the Nature Center lawn, are picnic tables and a small circle of seating for presentations from the park naturalists. So come on down to Pokagon State Park and learn something new today.

Summer Season (Memorial Day to Labor Day):
Open daily 10 am – 5 pm
Off Season (Jan. 2 to before Memorial Day, and after Labor Day to start of extended winter holiday hours):
Wednesday – Sunday 10 am – 5 pm
Closed Mondays and Tuesdays
Extended Winter Holiday Hours (December 21, 2024 – January 1, 2025):
Open daily 10 am – 5:30 pm
Closed Christmas Day
