Weather of pokagon state park

The weather in Pokagon State Park is pretty typical for northeast Indiana. Summers are long and warm, making for good weather to enjoy Lake James in a boat or on the beach. The temperature is generally in the low 80s, and rarely gets above 90 F. 

Winters are freezing and windy. However, this is one of the most popular times for Pokagon State Park because of the toboggan run and other fun winter activities.   Generally, the temperatures get as low as about 18 F, and rarely cooler than 1 F.  Spring and Fall are generally more tempeate. It is partly cloudy year-round. All in all, it’s a great place to visit no matter what time of year!
