SADDLE BARN - RIDES

Visitors to Pokagon State Park can enjoy a guided horseback ride on a 2-mile bridle trail (sorry, you can’t bring your own horse). Short guide-led pony rides are available for younger children. Hayrides run most Friday and Saturday nights. Call or inquire at the Saddle Barn for times and/or additional days.

There are no dress requirements, but you will be most comfortable in long pants and closed toe shoes. Carry your phone, camera, etc. at your own risk. If dropped, many horse hooves will pass over it before it can be retrieved. The guide will not stop for these items, and you will have to walk back to get them.
